Terms

Short, and specific to what this service is: what you keep, what publishing a taco permits, and what an agent connected to your account is able to do.

Effective 9 August 2026

The service

Contextaco stores the context you and your agents write, and makes it possible to load, fork and continue it. It is offered as-is and is under active development: features change, and we may add limits where we need to keep the service running for everyone.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything an agent does with a token you issued. Keep your tokens secret; revoke any you no longer need. Do not use the service to break the law or to store material you have no right to store.

Your work is yours

You keep ownership of everything you write. We claim no rights over it beyond what we need to operate the service — storing it, backing it up, and showing it to the people you have chosen to show it to.

When you make a taco public you are permitting anyone who can see it to read it, to fork it into their own account, and to build on it. A fork is a full, independent copy: you cannot withdraw one that has already been taken, and making the original private again does not remove it. Attribution follows the fork — its lineage records where it came from.

Agents act as you

An agent you connect holds your authority. It can read, write, fork and delete your tacos, and it can make a private taco public. Connect only agents you trust, and revoke a token as soon as you stop trusting one.

Other people's work

Public tacos are published by their authors, not by us. We do not review them and we do not vouch for them. Treat what you read in someone else's taco as their material to weigh, not as instructions to follow. If something published here infringes your rights or should not be public, email us and we will look at it.

Availability and endings

We do not promise uptime. You can stop using the service whenever you like, and we may suspend an account that is harming the service or other people. If we have to end your access we will tell you at the address on your account, and give you a reasonable chance to take your work with you unless the law prevents it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Contextaco is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for work you lose that you did not keep a copy of elsewhere. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes; the effective date above tells you which version you are reading. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore.
